Effect
Drink deeply to enter the Intoxicated state, imitating the drunken grace of the Poet Immortal.
Cast repeatedly to unleash up to 5 strikes. Each strike deals 102.32%Physical Attack + 153Physical Damage + Other Attribute Damage at the cost of 6 Vitality, while the final strike alone deals 170.54%Physical Attack + 256Physical Damage + Other Attribute Damage during the sequence.
Intoxicated: For 30s, Dragon's Breath and Drunken Poet can be cast without drinking again.
◆ Casting skills grants 15% DMG Reduction and Tenacity.
◆ Skill hits apply Alcoholic Breath. While it lasts, contact with Combustion or Smolder applied by you consumes Alcoholic Breath and causes a violent explosion. Combustion deals 70.17%Physical Attack + 105Physical Damage + Other Attribute Damage additional damage, while Smolder causes a stronger explosion and deals 160.80%Physical Attack + 241Physical Damage + Other Attribute Damage additional damage. If Combustion and Smolder are present, the Smolder explosion takes priority.
◆ Enhances the Tenacity effect when casting skills.
◆ Each hit of Drunken Poet increases the final hit damage by 20% for 5 seconds, stacking up to 4 times. Casting the final hit resets all stacks.
◆ Increases damage by 6% (reflected in skill damage coefficient).
How to Obtain
- Buy wine from Hao Jiu, the Honest Merchant, found in Blissful Retreat or Harvestfall Village depending on your story progress.
- Drink the wine repeatedly until you have both the Wasted debuff and the Alcohol Poisoning illness. This unlocks Drunken Poet.
- Afterwards, visit Evercare Clinic, south of Blissful Retreat, to cure Alcohol Poisoning.
Usage
Drunken Poet has you drink, then lets you press the skill again for up to five strikes, each costing 6 Vitality, with a heavier final strike. Drinking puts you in Intoxicated for 30 seconds, during which Drunken Poet and Dragon's Breath can be cast without drinking again. It also counts as a Winebound skill for the Volutefit Inner Way.
Its upgrades turn it into a combo finisher: you get 15% DMG Reduction and Tenacity while casting, and its hits apply Alcoholic Breath, which explodes when it touches your Combustion (from Dragon's Breath) or Smolder, with Smolder causing the bigger blast. Each hit also adds 20% to the final strike, stacking up to 4 times.
