Effect

In-game description

Recommended for Arena.
Slam a giant bell for 67.82%Physical Attack + 4Physical Damage + Other Attribute Damage, then unleash a deafening roar, dealing 332.30%Physical Attack + 22Physical Damage + Other Attribute Damage over 14 hits in a large area. Gain 15% Damage Reduction and Tenacity.
Hitting a Toad Venom target detonates the venom, spreading it and increasing roar damage to 498.45%Physical Attack + 33Physical Damage + Other Attribute Damage in total.

Bell Locations

You need to ring four different Copper Bells across Qinghe. Ringing the same bell again does not count, so tick them off as you go.

Usage

Lion's Roar opens with a bell slam, then a deafening roar that hits 14 times across a large area. You gain 15% Damage Reduction and Tenacity during it, so you can use it in the middle of a crowd without being knocked out of it. The game marks it as recommended for Arena.

It combos with Toad Venom from Leaping Toad: if the roar hits a target carrying Toad Venom, the venom detonates and spreads to nearby enemies, and the roar's total damage rises to about 1.5× the normal amount.

Pounce with Leaping Toad to apply Toad Venom first, then roar into the group for the bigger detonation. Upgrading Lion's Roar uses Buddha's Tear Root, so stock up if you plan to level it.
