Effect
Leaps onto an enemy's shoulders and stomps down for damage. Highly effective against cavalry and enemies with unstable poise.
Out of combat: Leap high to slam down or hold breath to jump to target locations. These locations are marked on the game interface.
In combat: Stomp on an enemy's shoulders to deal 98.80%Physical Attack + 14Physical Damage + Other Attribute Damage damage. This action can be interrupted by jumping. It can also knock down players with Tenacity and deal 197.59%Physical Attack + 28Physical Damage + Other Attribute Damage bonus damage to them.
Has bonus effects against Cavalry and other units with Unstable Poise.
Unstable Poise: These units have a Stance bar near their HP. Lower-body attacks will trigger special effects on them and deal 197.59%Physical Attack + 28Physical Damage + Other Attribute Damage bonus damage.
Usage
In combat, Cloud Steps jumps onto an enemy's shoulders and stomps down for damage. It deals bonus damage to Cavalry and other enemies with Unstable Poise, which have a Stance bar next to their HP, and it can knock down players who have Tenacity for a bigger hit. Jumping cancels the stomp, so you can bail out if needed.
Out of combat it is a traversal tool: leap high and slam down, or hold your breath to jump to target spots marked on the screen. You get it through main quest progression, in the cave beneath General's Shrine.
