Base Buff

Active at every tier

When dealing damage, there is a 15% chance to apply a Poison effect for 5 seconds, dealing damage once per second. The Poison reduces target's Physical Defense by 1.2% for 10 seconds, stacking up to 5 times (duration refreshed upon stacking).

Breakthrough Gains

    Increases the Physical Defense reduction of each Poison stack to 1.2%.

    Increases Precision Rate based on Solo Mode Level.

    When attacked, there is a 10% chance to apply one stack of Poison to the attacker.

    Increases the chance to apply Poison when dealing damage to 15%.

    Increases Physical DMG Bonus by 2.5%.

  6. Tier 6●●●●●●

    At 5 stacks, the Poison also reduces the target's Physical Resistance by 10.

Build Use

A simple general-purpose debuff Inner Way that works on any weapon. Every time you deal damage you have a chance to poison the target for 5 seconds of damage over time, and each Poison stack also lowers its Physical Defense for 10 seconds, up to 5 stacks. Tier 1 sets the reduction to 1.2% per stack and Tier 4 raises the apply chance to 15%, so builds that hit many times per second keep all 5 stacks up with little effort.

Tier 6 is the main payoff: at 5 stacks the Poison also removes 10 Physical Resistance, which helps every physical hit you and your team land. Tier 3 adds a bit of defense by sometimes poisoning enemies that hit you, and Tiers 2 and 5 add Precision Rate and 2.5% Physical DMG Bonus.

Stacks refresh their duration whenever a new one is applied, so keep attacking steadily rather than in short bursts to hold the 5-stack Physical Resistance cut through long boss fights.
