Calmwaters is built around effortless sustain after successful Perfect Dodges. Every clean dodge has a 50% chance to refund Endurance and restore HP, letting evasive players stay aggressive without giving up mobility.

The set becomes more valuable as your HP drops because its healing scales at the 50% and 20% thresholds. It offers very little passive protection compared with heavier defensive sets, so its value depends heavily on player timing and movement.

Ideal Usage

Calmwaters is best for dodge-reliant assassins, mobile DPS builds and duel-focused PvP setups. It also performs well in PvE encounters where attack patterns are readable enough to trigger Perfect Dodges repeatedly.

Because the set restores both HP and Endurance, skilled players can maintain very high sustain while continuing to pressure the target. That makes it especially effective with highly mobile weapons such as Infernal Twinblades and Mortal Rope Dart.

Best fit: aggressive evasive play, Perfect-Dodge specialists, mobile PvP duelists and players who prefer avoiding damage over passive tanking.

Recommended Pairing

Swallowcall is a strong offensive pairing for Calmwaters. Calmwaters helps keep HP and Endurance stable through Perfect Dodges, while Swallowcall supports aggressive low-Qi burst finishes once an opening is created.

Weaknesses

The main drawback is consistency. Calmwaters provides only modest passive defense and its defining sustain depends on landing Perfect Dodges, followed by the 50% proc chance. Players who trade hits frequently or struggle with dodge timing will get much less value from the four-piece bonus.
